This past weekend (3-4 June 2011) saw the Guitarist Of The Year competitions held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, as part of The London Guitar Festival.
The competition is split into three main categories of five finalists selected from hundreds of entries by an expert panel of judges:
- Young Guitarist Of The Year in association with Blackstar Amplification (aged 16 or under) – Finalists
- Acoustic Guitarist Of The Year in association with Takamine Guitars (all ages) – Finalists
- Guitarist Of The Year in association with Vigier Guitars (aged 17 and over) – Finalists
