Nickelback have released seven albums in the past 15 years and their latest offering Here and Now was released earlier this week. Their fans will be delighted with the Canadian’s efforts but for many it will be rather annoying that the four-piece will be back on the airwaves.
Well, fear not because Free Art and Technology Lab’s Shaved Bieber project have produced a Nickelblock plugin for Firefox and Chrome. Once installed, NICKELBLOCK will eliminate all mention of Alberta’s finest from your web browser permanently! So you’ll never have to read about Nickelback again.

If you want to install it manually, you can download it from their FTP:
Instructions for Firefox:
Go to Firefox > Add-ons > Install add-on from file>select the nickelblock.xpi file you downloaded.
Instructions for Chrome:
Unzip the nickelblock.zip file to any folder. Go to Chrome > Tools > Extensions > Load unpacked extension > select the unzipped nickelblock folder.
