Van Halen have announced they will tour with singer David Lee Roth for the first time since 1985. Tickets go on sale: January 10th.
A collection of video trailers have appeared on Van Halen’s YouTube Channel featuring the band rehearsing on stage. Specific dates for this tour are still yet to be announced, but the first round of tickets will go on sale January 10th.
Along with the announcement of their upcoming tour, Van Halen recently signed with Interscope Records and will reportedly release a new album in 2012. This highly anticipated new release will mark the band’s first album with Roth since 1983′s 1984.
The current Van Halen lineup will see David Lee Roth joining forces with founding members Eddie and Alex Van Halen, and Eddie’s 20-year son Wolfgang Van Halen, who replaced longtime bassist Michael Anthony who left to form Chickenfoot with former Van Halen singer Sammy Hager and virtuoso guitarist Joe Satriani back in 2006.
