Guitar Noize have teamed up with the guys at Jam Track Central to offer a truly awesome contest called ‘BLUE NOIZE’. Entrants have to perform a blues guitar solo over a backing track and upload to YouTube to win prizes from PRS, Suhr and Electro Harmonix, to name a few!, in association with PRS Guitars,, Suhr, Electro-Harmonix, Jim Dunlop and Rotosound Music Strings presents the latest YouTube solo contest and this time it’s a little blue. The last Guitar Noize solo contest was called ‘Anti-Shred’ to differentiate from all the shred competitions around, this time it is your chance to show us your blues chops with a fantastic professional backing track courtesy of

The Blue Noize contest has a panel of distinguished guitar judges – Suhr Artists Andy Wood, Rick Graham and Tom Quayle and’s Jon Bloomer and Paul Davies. Jon and Paul will whittle down the entries to a top 20 before handing them over to Andy, Rick and Tom to make a final decision.

The Prizes

1st Prize: PRS 25th Anniversary SE Custom 24 Guitar
2nd Prize: Electro Harmonix POG2 & Big Muff with Tone Wicker, Max Grip Picks, BMF Leather Strap
3rd Prize: Suhr Riot Distortion Pedal, Max Grip Picks, BMF Leather Strap

Plus 3x Sets of Rotosound Strings for each of the top 20 finalists.

    Why there,
    I know i missed the deadline for the contest but, still, i’d really like to have the backing track for my amusement.

    The above link does not work anymore…is there any other way i could find it?
