MonkeyFest 2012 Cancelled

With news of Sonisphere, Big Chill and a host of smaller festivals being cancelled recently it is with no surprise that yet another music festival has been pulled this summer. MonkeyFest 2012, brainchild of internet guitar guru Rob Chappers, has been axed after the relative success of last years festival that saw the likes of Guthrie Govan, Andy James and Jess Lewis perform to punters at Bisley Pavilion, near Guildford, UK.

“I am absolutely gutted to say that MonkeyFest 2012 will not go ahead and has been cancelled. My sincere appologoes for any inconvenience this has caused, all tickets will be refunded before the date we had planned for MonkeyFest – Just email me at officialrobchappers@gmail.com and I will personally deal with it.” – Rob Chappers

Do not fear as there are still many festival running this summer:
