INTRODUCING: The Guitar Vaults

Check out this great new website called The Guitar Vaults:

the-guitar-vaultsWatch guitar legend Dweezil Zappa introduce and talk you through this fantastic new website. The site allows you to register your precious guitar and share details with a global community of guitar enthusiasts. In the unlikely event of having your prized axe stolen you can alert the community immediately and have an army of monkeys help track your guitar down!

“Whether you are an international recording artist or a bedroom noodler, there is nothing more soul destroying than the loss of your beloved instrument. Guitar theft is big business and is allowed to thrive in part because, once gone, guitars are very difficult to track down. Moreover, because each instrument is unique, they are difficult or impossible to replace.

The aim of theguitarvaults is to have one site for all guitarists to register their instruments. Having registered your guitar, if it should ever be lost or stolen, you can let the community know through this site. So, if any instrument should ever come up for sale, potential buyers can search theguitarvaults records and satisfy themselves of the validity of the seller’s claims of ownership.

Registering one guitar is without charge. By doing so you will start to build the online community and help reduce the market for stolen guitars.”
