CAGED System: Chords

This post is for my students at the City of Bath College.

The CAGED system is a very useful way to find your way around the fretboard. The system uses the five main chord shapes played in the open position – C A G E D – and creates five moveable shapes that can be connected to fill the entire fretboard. Download the CAGED System sheet below and learn the five shapes.
